If it did not grow, it does not go in the bottle. Everything else about Uzzy Nature's Extract Limited — the small batches, the cold storage, the short shelf life — follows from that one decision.

Our story

It started with a label nobody could read

Walk into almost any shop in Nigeria and pick up a fruit drink. Turn it over. You will usually find a list of things that have never grown on a tree — stabilisers, colours, "flavour identical to nature", and preservatives that go by numbers instead of names. Somewhere near the bottom, the actual fruit content.

We thought people deserved a straight answer to a simple question: what am I actually drinking? So we built a production house where the answer fits on one line. Watermelon. Oranges. Hibiscus. Tigernut. Coconut. Clean water. That is the list, and it is printed on the front where you can find it.

Uzzy Nature's Extract Limited now produces ten natural drinks and snacks from our facility in Numan, Adamawa State, and serves customers, offices and retailers across the Federal Capital Territory from our Lokogoma base.

What we will not do

We will not hide the list

Every ingredient printed in full, in plain words. Our factory address and phone number are on the label — so if something is wrong, you reach the people who made it.

We will not press bad fruit

Produce is inspected before we buy it and again before it goes in the press. Bruised, unripe or over-ripe does not make the cut — and if the market is poor that week, we simply do not make that flavour.

We will not import what grows here

We buy from Nigerian farmers and market traders we deal with directly, and we employ and train locally in Numan and Abuja.

We will not waste the rest

Recyclable PET bottles, tight control of production waste, and leftover pulp returned for compost and animal feed wherever we can arrange it.

Standards

Made in a room we would happily show you

Production runs in small batches in a dedicated, sanitised room. Surfaces and equipment are cleaned between every batch. Bottles are new, food-grade and sealed at fill. Finished stock goes straight into refrigeration and stays there until it reaches you — it never sits warm, not even for an hour.

Questions

The things people ask us most

How long does the juice last?

Because there are no preservatives, our drinks are made to be drunk fresh and kept refrigerated at all times. We tell you the exact window for your batch when you order — treat it like fresh food, not like a soft drink.

Is there added sugar?

Only where the recipe calls for it, and only natural sweetener. Several flavours are listed with sweetener as optional — tell us when ordering and we will make yours without.

Do you deliver outside Abuja?

We deliver across the FCT as standard. For deliveries further afield, message us on WhatsApp with your location and quantity and we will work out the cold-chain logistics with you.

Can I order for an event or an office?

Yes — that is a large part of what we do. Weddings, birthdays, conferences, church programmes and office pantries all get bulk pricing and a scheduled delivery. See our wholesale page.

Are the bottles recyclable?

Yes. Our 500ml bottles are food-grade PET and fully recyclable. Please rinse and dispose of them responsibly.
